    Job Summary:

    To manage and monitor a portfolio in the Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) Risk Unit, assess credit applications along with risk recommendations, in light of CBE regulations and Banque du Caire policy, to be presented to credit committees. Follow up on expired cases for renewal, past dues, expired documents, discrepancies, and risk rating approvals.

    Job Description:

    • Prescreen the provided set of documents from the business side, verifying the fulfillment of the required checklist.
    • Communicate with the SME Business team regarding any additional requirements or documents.
    • Verify the accuracy of the on-hand documents and financial figures, including double-checking and validating the auditor's credentials.
    • Identify the purpose of the proposed loan and the eligibility under CBE initiatives.
    • Spread financial statements over the Moody’s system.
    • Perform financial analysis to cover profitability trends, liquidity, solvency, and cash flow, in addition to projections for long-term loans.
    • Analyze proposed credit applications against industry concentration and the purpose of finance after calculating the financial need.
    • Stay updated on market news and governmental regulations.
    • Determine different risks and ensure they are covered.
    • Assess the quality of the collateral offered.
    • Provide recommendations regarding facility applications.
    • Define all requested exceptions in terms of pricing or commissions and determine the appropriate credit risk committee depending on the amount of the requested facility and rating.
    • Abide by the turnaround time for each credit application along with providing accurate credit recommendations.
    • Follow up on expired cases, turnover conditions, breached covenants, expired documents, past dues, shortfalls, and deviations.

    Job Requirements:

    • Minimum 1 year of experience in Credit Risk Assessment, up to 5 years.
    • Full Credit Course is a must.
    • Ability to write recommendations in the Arabic language.
    • Bachelor's degree in business administration or any related field.
